Thomas is the CEO and Co-Founder at Owkin, a French-American startup which specialises in AI and Federated Learning for Oncology. It’s multidisciplinary team of 100 people has expertise in the analysis of real-world data and experience leveraging advanced machine learning technologies on multimodal cohorts to develop solutions to optimize drug developmaent and improve patient care. Thomas leads medical research and business intelligence for the organization.
Thomas is a former Assistant Professor of Clinical Onco-Hematology at Hopital Henri Mondor in Paris, the largest unit of lymphoma patients in France. He is also a former member of Ari Melnick’s lab at the Weill Cornell Medical College, where he was the coPI of several high-impact research projects focused on prediction of resistance to chemotherapy in B-cell lymphoma and Bladder cancer.
